Matt Slaybaugh is a director and writer living in Grandview and is the Artistic Director of Available Light Theatre. Says Matt, “ I don’t wait. I meet resistance like a long-lost lover.” His mission is to build a more conscious and compassionate world through articulation and clarity. Matt lives with his beautiful wife, Acacia, and a blue weimaraner named Beckett.

Northstar rocks, Skreened is my newest fave, and Miranda Sound wrote one of my anthems. I miss Little Brothers and the Short North Playhouse. Lastly, I love that, as Leigh Householder put it - You’re basically guaranteed to be rubbing elbows with an artist whether you’re shopping the North Market or noshing on Hyde Park steaks.
